A good marinade can take any piece of meat to the next level. This Asian inspired marinade combines sweet and spicy flavors perfect for beef, pork, and chicken.

The Process:
In a small bowl or measuring cup, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, sesame oil, and chili garlic sauce. Whisk until combined. Pour just enough marinade to cover all surfaces of the meat. A little goes a long way with marinade. I like to reserve half of the marinade to turn into sauce and use the other half to marinade 2 skirt steaks.
Marinade for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Turn reserved marinade into sauce by adding water and cornstarch. Here’s how:
