Mango Salsa

Mango salsa is a fresh and delicious topping for any taco this summer!

Here's what you'll need:

  • Mangoes
  • Roma Tomatoes
  • Red Onion
  • White Onion
  • Jalapeño
  • Cilantro
  • Lime Juice
  • Salt

The Process

Start by peeling 2 large mangoes. Cut the flesh from the pit and dice into small cubes. Dice 2 Roma tomatoes. Finely dice 1/3 cup red onion and 1/3 cup white onion. Then, remove the seeds from 1 whole jalapeño and finely dice. If you want more spice, keep the seeds. Finely chop a handful of cilantro. Throw all the ingredients in a bowl and mix. Add the juice of 1-2 limes depending on the size of the limes. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp of salt and stir everything together. Adjust salt to taste as needed. Refrigerate until ready to serve!

1.     Peel mangoes. Remove the flesh. Dice.

2.     Dice tomatoes. Finely dice red onion, white onion, and jalapeño.

3.     Finely chop cilantro.

4.     Mix the ingredients in a large bowl. Add juice of 1-2 limes. Add salt. Taste and add more salt if needed.

5.     Refrigerate until ready to serve.
